Help support Outdoor Nation's great initiatives like ON University, Campus Club grants and Youth Summits.
Created by The Outdoor Foundation and supported by a diverse coalition of public, private and not-for-profit partners, Outdoor Nation and its community of Outsiders are committed to increasing and expanding youth participation through entertainment, education, engagement and action - especially among urban communities and communities of color - resulting in a healthier, more active generation.
As this new exciting effort kicks off, there are many ways to get involved. Embrace Your Inner Outsider!
Visit Outdoor Nation online at www.outdoornation.org where you can network with outdoor leaders, create outdoor clubs and groups and even earn free gear just for giving your opinion. Twice a month, Outsiders will be asked for their feedback on a range of outdoor issues and, in exchange, get free outdoor stuff.

The Foundation launched the first Outdoor Nation Youth Summit in June 2010 in New York City's Central Park, when 500 young adults representing all 50 states gathered in what became the largest and most diverse summit to connect youth to the outdoors. The event sparked a youth-led movement that is now empowering the Millennial generation to reconnect, redefine and rediscover America as an Outdoor Nation. This year, The Foundation is expanding Outdoor Nation with plans to host 3-day regional youth summits in New York City, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Denver and San Francisco from June 24 through July 31, 2011. Youth leaders interested in participating as delegates can apply online through Outdoor Nation's new community website at www.outdoornation.org.
