The award aims to encourage and reward those projects that successfully get youth out-of-doors and active. The partners will give a $1,500 donation to one volunteer’s chosen charity in recognition of a project that inspires kids to take part in outdoor activities, gets them to connect with nature or teaches them the health benefits of being outside.]]></description>

In addition, The Outdoor Foundation contracted Verde PR & Consulting as their communications agency of record, effective April 1, 2008.
