In partnership with Coleman, The Outdoor Foundation published the 2010 Special Report on Camping, which provides an in-depth look at participation and overall trends. The research gives activity information by gender, age, ethnicity, income, education, and geographic region. In addition, the study looks at "crossover" participation to find the activities that camping participants most often and least often enjoy.
